What is quality management?
Quality management ensures that your products and services reliably meet customer and stakeholder expectations – today and tomorrow. It encompasses all measures you use to plan, control, and continuously improve processes: defining clear responsibilities, documenting procedures, and conducting regular audits. At its core, it shouldn't promote bureaucracy, but rather clarity: Who does what, how does a process actually work, and where are the bottlenecks? Standards like ISO 9001 provide a sensible framework. When implemented effectively, quality management serves as a guiding principle throughout your daily work by aligning regulations with actual practice.
What is an interactive management system?
Not to be confused with an Integrated Management System! The "interactive" in "Interactive Management System" signifies that employees truly participate in the system by helping to shape and use it.
An Interactive Management System provides a central home for processes, instructions, and guidelines and links them meaningfully. Responsible individuals create and edit procedures and specifications decentrally – making this knowledge truly tangible in everyday work. The Interactive Management System guides users step-by-step through the respective processes and links to the relevant role or form at the appropriate point. And it is always up-to-date: changes are reflected in real time across all linked elements.
Was ist ein Integriertes Managementsystem (IMS)?
Ein Integriertes Managementsystem bündelt mehrere Managementdisziplinen – etwa Qualitäts- oder Umweltmanagement, Arbeitsschutz oder Informationssicherheit – in einem gemeinsamen System, statt sie in getrennten Silos zu pflegen. Prozesse, Dokumente und Verantwortlichkeiten, die sich überschneiden, lassen sich an einer Stelle beschreiben und in allen Bereichen verwenden. Das spart doppelte Arbeit, schafft Konsistenz und sorgt für schlankere Audits. Is Ariadne really an operating system?
Yes and no: Not in the original, learned sense of the word—that is, when we talk about the basic software of a computer, such as Microsoft Windows, macOS, or Linux. Ariadne doesn't fall into that category.
However, at Ariadne, we use the term metaphorically, as a deliberate analogy. An operating system works and "serves" in the background, performing essential functions for the operation of a system. It's where everything comes together; everything else is built upon it. Ariadne does precisely that for organizations, creating the foundation for smooth workflows.
What happened to Modell Aachen and orgavision?
Something wonderful: We, both companies, have joined forces. We've pooled our resources, experience, and knowledge and founded Ariadne together.
For over 15 years, we had each worked independently with the same focus: Management systems are effective when they are lived. When people don't perceive them as a burden, but rather as the central factor that brings clarity to their work and processes.
We had pursued this independently – with the same values, in the same market, and with virtually the same product vision. At some point, it made more sense to combine our resources and grow together, instead of operating side-by-side and increasingly working against each other.
Ariadne was born out of a clear growth decision for a future that is developing much more dynamically than ever before. The market, in particular, is undergoing fundamental changes due to AI. We want to proactively shape it from our combined strengths.
